'Bukovyna' Fund actively develops youth entrepreneurship in the region. To implement necessary market reforms, Ukraine needs to rely on a new generation of entrepreneurs. These are people of different mentality: they think how to create jobs for themselves and others, and not only how to find a job.

In the U.S., about 20% of students try their hand in business before graduation. This helps many of them to understand if they can do business and avoid mistakes in adulthood.

In Ukraine, just the very few have such opportunity. To solve this problem 'Bukovyna' Fund regularly holds business ideas contests among students. Authors of the best business ideas are able to finalize their business plans with a help of the Fund's experts and obtain financing for their business.

The Fund is also working with the Youth Employment Centre of Chernivtsi region. It is important, that today this center is headed by Sergiy Palagnyuk who, at the time, won the business ideas competition and opened his company due to the support of 'Bukovyna' Fund.
